Electronic duo peaceFIRE fuses Italo Disco and Japanese Synth Pop with “Hot Glitter”

Synth-pop duo peaceFIRE is hosting a release party in Los Angeles for their new album Harmonizer. The group, featuring Elliott Fiedler (programming and keyboards) and Mayumi Kaneyuki (lead vocals and keyboards) recently landed MTV Iggy’s “Video of the Week” for their single “Hot Glitter” off the forthcoming album.

Harmonizer brings together the sounds of Italo disco, Japanese synth-pop and house with bombastic pop tracks and epic synth instrumentals. Fiedler, originally from the US and based in Tokyo, and Kaneyuki, born in Japan and hailing from Los Angeles, have created peaceFIRE’s latest album inspired by the possibilities of the future of electronic music.

The official release party for Harmonizer will be held at Akbar in Los Angeles on Friday, June 12th.
