Japanese metal phenoms BABYMETAL brought the Fox God’s power down on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s New York audience and millions of open-jawed television viewers Tuesday night with a live performance of their breakout hit “Gimme Chocolate!” from the self-titled 2014 album BABYMETAL.

The trio of Su-Metal, Moametal, and Yuimetal displayed their choreographed moves and kawaii-vocals with a full band on the stage of the Ed Sullivan Theater, supported by fans who waited for hours to get a spot within arm’s reach of the Japanese pop-metal ambassadors.

Noted Colbert, holding a vinyl copy of BABYMETAL’s album METAL RESISTANCE, “I’m not sure what I’m about to see, but I sure am excited.”
