FEMM get one step closer to real with candy-coated (almost) 3D MV “Do It Again”

Japanese dance/pop mannequins FEMM have released their “Fake 3D” music video for “Do It Again feat. LIZ”. Produced by Wataru Sasaki of EPOCH, known for his work with Namie Amuro (“Anything for Google Chrome”) and FACT’s SmartPhone Music Video of “the way down”, the video is a collaboration with FEMM’s creative team “maximum 10” using a technique called SPLIT DEPTH that tricks the viewer’s eyes to create a 3D feeling.

“Do It Again” features MAD DECENT artist LIZ, whose past collaborations include work with Pharrell Williams, Ryan Hemsworth, SOPHIE and Lido. LIZ wrote the melody and the English lyrics for . The Japanese rap part was co-created by FAKY’s Lil’Fang, (along with FEMM a co-member of the female rap crew, FAMM’IN) and cutting-edge female singer Yup’in.

FEMM’s signature rubber costumes were made by House of Harlot, the world-famous rubber specialty shop, with styling by London-based Louby McLoughlin. FEMM is currently visiting Europe for shows in Denmark and London. The digital single, “Do It Again,” will be released globally on May 3rd on Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music.
