Japanese idol group Wasuta (“The World Standard”) continued their mission of spreading kawaii across the world with a set of 4 performances at Japan Festival in Mongolia 2019, held August 17-18 in Ulaanbaatar.

Wasuta’s appearance at the festival, which is Mongolia’s largest celebration of Japanese culture, is their 11th time performing outside of Japan since their debut in 2015. The group performed several of their top hits, including the Idol Time PriPara anime theme “Saijoukyu Paradox” and their collaboration with Spain’s Adexe & Nau, “Yo Quiero Vivir”, which has achieved over 3 million views on YouTube.

Wasuta members expressed their thanks to the audience for the kindness and warmth of the Mongolian fans. The group’s high energy sets also featured a surprise on-stage collaboration with local students for a performance of “Inu Neko. Seishun Massakari”.
